Coinciding with Fat Liberation Month, this webinar will explore strategies to combat weight discrimination in the workplace.

This webinar is scheduled to coincide with Fat Liberation Month, and its primarily focuses into strategies aimed at addressing weight discrimination and fostering an inclusive culture within the workplace. It intends to provide insights, information, and practical guidance on how individuals and organizations can combat anti-fat bias. Participants can expect discussions on promoting inclusivity, challenging stereotypes, and creating an environment that embraces diverse body sizes. The aim is to contribute to the ongoing efforts of the Fat Liberation Movement and encourage positive change.Speaker: Vinny Welsby (they/them) is a world-leading expert on dismantling anti-fat bias and diet-culture, TEDx speaker, and the Founder of Weight Inclusive Consulting.They are white, fat, queer, non-binary, neurodivergent, university educated and a settler in Vancouver Canada. Vinny helps is dedicated to shifting the way society views fat bodies. Vinny is an expert in anti-fat bias, body liberation, and a certified coach.
