EVENT OVERVIEW
As a commercial landowner or business owner along one of the Main Streets in the North Hill area (4 Street NW, Centre Street N, Edmonton Trail NE and 16 Avenue N), we invite you to drop-in to a session with The City to review the draft Local Area Plan for the North Hill Communities. 
This session will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. at the Crescent Heights Community Association. 
Coffee and Timbits will be served. 
FORMAT
The session will be drop-in style with information panels and City staff on hand to walk you through the draft plan and hear your throughts. You are welcome to come-and-go but we will have a 30 minute presentation occuring at 2:30 & 4:00 p.m. to give a high-level overview of the draft concepts. 
Please confirm your attendance by registering here before Decebmer 2, 2019. This event is forlandowners and business owners along the Main Streets (4 Street NW, Centre Street N, Edmonton Trail NE and 16 Avenue N) only. Members of the general public and residential landowners from the North Hill area, are encouraged to attend the Public Sessions noted below. Please also note that registration space is limited and based on venue capacity and will be on a first-come first-served basis.
PROJECT BACKGROUND
The City of Calgary has been working over the past year to create a local area plan to guide future growth and redevelopment with the communities of Thorncliffe Greenview (south of Mcknight Blvd – which includes the Greenview Industrial Area), Highland Park, Mount Pleasant, Tuxedo Park, Winston Heights-Mountview, Crescent Heights, Renfrew, Rosedale and Capitol Hill. 
Through this local growth planning process, we have been working with area stakeholders to create a future vision for how land could be used and redeveloped in the area – building on the vision, goals and policies outlined in Calgary’s Municipal Development Plan and the Developed Areas Guidebook. 
The Main Streets in the North Hill area are key focus areas for growth with unique conditions and circumstances. A focused discussion with key stakeholders about the draft concepts is an important part of this phase of the project.

PUBLIC SESSIONS
Two sessions for the general public to review the draft plan will be held on: 
Draft Plan Review Session #1 Thursday, November 28 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Renfrew Community Association 
Draft Plan Review Session #2 Saturday, November 30 from 11:00 - 2:00 p.m. Highland Park Community Association
