Enjoy an evening of sharing ideas, learn about ways to get involved, and connect with other sustainability-minded people at UM.

The theme of UM Sustainability Night 2024 is the UM Climate Action Plan and working our way towards our goal of net zero emissions by 2050. Pecha Kucha style presentations from UM faculty, students and staff will showcase research and work being done on each of the four CAP pillars - Energy and Buildings, Transportation, Waste, and Land. After the presentations, we invite you to stay and connect with other sustainability-minded people at UM. Also visit our UM CAP-themed discussion tables to find out how you can get involved and give feedback on how we can engage the UM community in helping us reach our net zero goals. Light refreshments will be served throughout the evening. If you require accommodations, please let us know by March 6, 2024 via email, sustainability@umanitoba.ca
