Mark your calendars! Manitoba Beef Producers is hosting its first ever event geared exclusively for young producers ages 18-39.

Manitoba Beef and Forage Initiatives

Set for January 13-14, 2020, the retreat will be taking place at the Manitoba Beef and Forage Initiative farm north of Brandon (North East Corner PTH #10 and Hwy 353).Over the course of this two-day event, producers will be hear from industry experts Dave Pratt of Ranch Management Consultants and Peter Manness with Meyers Norris Penny on succession planning and intergenerational transfer, tax implications &amp; financial issues, land acquisition, as well as managing the business &amp; human relations side of their operation. Members of the MBP Board of Directors will also be leading an informal discussion on the importance of getting involved with the board and helping to guide the industry going forward.The $50 registration fee covers a meal on the evening of the 13th, all materials and the opportunity to take part in a fun-filled mixer at Kickin&#x27; Axe Throwing where networking and mingling is strongly encouraged!Please note: the Victoria Inn Hotel &amp; Conference Centre in Brandon is the host hotel but accommodations are not covered as part of the ticket price.
