What is the program/agenda for the event?

The gala will kick off with a cocktail hour, followed by a delicious three-course dinner. After dinner, we will move on to the awards presentation. Once the awards have been handed out, guests are invited to hit the dance floor and enjoy the entertainment provided by our DJ.

Can I request a refund?

Accepted Answer

Refunds are considered until March 10th. After that, only ticket exchanges are accepted. (The eventbrite fee is nonrefundable)

Are there options for dietary restrictions?

Yes, all menu items are halal. We can accommodate vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and other dietary restrictions with advance notice during registration.
For friends who can't eat Halal meat, we also have a fish meat option (please indicate in the survey form after the registration)

Is this venue accessible?

All galleries and facilities are wheelchair accessible. Wheelchairs and walkers are provided free of charge (No reservation is required). Accessible parking spaces are available in our underground parking. Please contact events@cusaonline.ca if you require any additional accommodations.

What is the dress code for the gala?

The gala has a Hollywood theme, so dress to impress in your glamorous red-carpet attire!

Where is the event located?

The event will be held at the National Gallery of Canada, located at 380 Sussex Drive. Please ensure you have the correct venue

Question 7

What’s the award ceremony and when will applications for CUSA and Club Awards open?

Accepted Answer

The award ceremony includes recognition for both student leaders and clubs.
Applications for CUSA Awards are currently open. Club Awards applications will open on Friday.  Student and club leaders that are nominated  are encouraged to buy tickets and attend awards ceremony.

When is the deadline for early bird ticket prices?

The early bird/flash sale price is available until March 3rd, 2024 11:59 PM

Question 9

Will there be assigned seating?

Accepted Answer

No, there will be no seating arrangements prior to your arrival. However, please note that tables will accommodate up to 10 people each.

Can my meal be provided during Iftar time?

Accepted Answer

Dinner is scheduled for 8:30 PM. Appetizers and complimentary dates will be available before that to break your fast.

Question 11

Can I come to the event if I am not a Carleton University Student?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Thank you so much for your interest, and you can choose to purchase a non-Carleton student ticket here. If you have purchased a non-Carleton student ticket, the attendee must be accompanied by a Carleton student with a valid CUID.
