An insightful virtual townhall session aimed at laying the groundwork for the development of a National Black Health Strategy and Policy

As the Black population in Canada continues to grow, it's crucial to address the pressing health inequities and disparities faced by Black Canadians, causing them to experience poorer health outcomes. Despite being a significant demographic, the lack of literature documenting the health inequities and a comprehensive national strategy to improve the health of Black communities in Canada is evident.Black Opportunity Fund (BOF), is hosting an insightful national virtual townhall session aimed at laying the groundwork for the development of a National Black Health Strategy and Policy. Discussions will focus on the following:· Identifying and discussing major issues related to Black peoples' health in Canada.· Exploring how policies and services can better respond to the health needs of Black people.· Gathering feedback from Black communities on how to address health inequities effectively.We are grateful to the Canadian Race Relations Foundation (CRRF) for their sponsorship support for the BOF Black Health Townhall Series.
