Ottawa Art Gallery (OAG) is an independent non-profit public art gallery committed to the acquisition, presentation, interpretation and dissemination of contemporary art for the benefit of the local arts community. Its programs explore a variety of issues and include exhibitions, talks, lectures, tours and publications. OAG has a growing permanent collection of historical and contemporary works associated with the region. It also houses the Firestone Collection of Canadian Art, which consists of more than 1,600 works of art assembled by Ottawa collectors O.J. and Isobel Firestone, who acquired the works from the early 1950s to the 1970s.__________

I n-Studio : Phone Filming for StartersMarch 29, 2024 from 6:30PM-8PMF REE Join the OAG Youth Council for a FREE youth art session!This month, learn the craft of filmmaking using only your mobile device! The workshop will cover professional composition and framing, storytelling, audio and video tips, and editing your finished video. Participants will leave this workshop with a completed short video project!Presented in collaboration with the Ottawa Youth Film Festival. Open to all youth aged 15-25.
