NSCSW Lunch & Learn: Decolonizing the social work practicum

Join one of the NSCSW's practicum students to explore decolonization in social work practice and education.

Tanya McHarg, RSW, is an experienced social worker completing her master's degree at Dalhousie University's School of Social Work, and the NSCSW has been hosting her field placement. She will be sharing some of her learning, research and personal reflections as part of her practicum. Join her, as she reflects upon what it means to her to decolonize her social work practice and why now is the time to commit to healing and liberation for all. <h3>Eligibility</h3>All active, associate, retired associate, and student members of the <a href="https://nscsw.org" title="https://nscsw.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Nova Scotia College of Social Workers</a> are welcome to attend; our professional development programming is part of our member services funded by <a href="https://issuu.com/nscsw/docs/connection_spring2023_webfinal/42" title="https://issuu.com/nscsw/docs/connection_spring2023_webfinal/42" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">annual registration fees</a>.There are no prerequisites for this session.
