Learn the basics of latte art from steaming the perfect textured milk to learing how to pour a beautiful design.
Students will learn the science behind steaming milk to achieve the proper latte texture and temperature, and how to pour latte art using what's called a "free pour" technique, which does not use tools or stencils and instead focuses on the espresso, milk, and the barista’s technique.
The class is three hours long with an emphasis on hands-on practice. By the end of the class, students will have the tools and knowledge to steam milk to the ideal texture and temperature and pour a heart design into a latte.
All materials are included and students are welcome to take photos and write down notes throughout the class.
