Join us at The Town of Truro and Colchester County STEP Program to boost tourism and grow our community together!

We invite you to join other community and business members in a facilitated session to help identify our inherent community strengths as we work towards growing our economy through tourism. A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE, IS A GREAT PLACE TO VISIT. We want to hear from you and discuss ways to enhance this place we call home! We welcome you to attend one of our STEP launch sessions, meet our STEP consultant, learn how this project will lay a foundation to grow the regional tourism economy and have an opportunity to provide input into what you’d like to see accomplished. ALL ARE WELCOME:Attend the session that meets your schedule, no matter where you live. Please feel free to share these engagement sessions with other community and business members who may have interest in taking part in this collaborative opportunity! Who should attend?· General public: interested individuals.· Tourism industry stakeholders: businesses and organizations directly serving tourists: accommodations, restaurants, retailers, and gas station owners etc.· Other stakeholders: organizations and businesses actively involved in the community, including the economic development agencies and the Chamber of Commerce.· Public and private sector organizations: municipal governments, community arts and culture organizations, and business leaders in the community.· Local tourism associations: existing tourism associations/organizations.· Not-for-profit groups: organizing festivals/ events and operating tourism assets important to visitors.· Communities in the region: ensure each community is actively engaged.· Government representatives from federal and provincial government agencies
