An informal Zoom chat hosted by Christine Hennebury that will bring storytellers together to share (and to create) collective wisdom

Conversations (with Christine)
Conversations (with Christine) is a series of informal Zoom chats hosted by SC-CC President Christine Hennebury that will bring storytellers together to share (and to create) collective wisdom about stories and storytelling practices. The purpose of these chats is to build community and to share information so we aren’t trying to come to a specific conclusion or to develop an action plan, this is just about conversation! Please join us to chat about your tried-and-true techniques/the things you are exploring and let’s see what new ideas we come up with together. Registration is required. These events are open to everyone: SC-CC members and non-members alike. Please spread the word with your storytelling friends!
Conversation #1 - Beginnings, Middles, and Ends
Monday April 15th at 7:00 PM Eastern Time (more time zones here)What’s your favourite way to start a story? How do you know when you’ve reached the end? What gets included in the middle? Our first conversation in this series is about story structure - how we work our way in and out of the details of our tales and make sure everything makes sense along the way. This event is hosted by Storytellers of Canada – Conteurs du Canada and supported by our funders: The Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council and the Government of Ontario.
