Two years ago, local author <a href="https://nelsonboschman.com" title="https://nelsonboschman.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Nelson Boschman</a> released his first book, The Growing Season: Contemplations on Wine and the Soul… a closer look at the transformation that occurs from grape to glass, and what that process can teach us about what it means to flourish as human beings. Boschman has teamed up with <a href="https://www.mtlehmanwinery.com/" title="https://www.mtlehmanwinery.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Mt Lehman Winery</a> and Downtown Abbotsford's <a href="https://downtownabbotsford.ca/open-space/" title="https://downtownabbotsford.ca/open-space/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Open Space</a> to bring you a unique community event you won’t want to miss. We’ll taste delicious local wines, hear stories and readings from The Growing Season, and share an evening of connection with our neighbours and friends.The Growing Season books will be available for purchase at the venue, or include it as part of your event ticket to get a discount.We hope you can join us! He grew up in Abbotsford and currently lives in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is the pastor of spiritual formation at Artisan Church, and a partner of SoulStream.About Mt. Lehman Winery: Mt. Lehman Winery started as a dream and has grown into an award-winning boutique winery. In the early 1990s, growing grapes in the Fraser Valley seemed impossible but we believed in the possibilities. Mt. Lehman Winery has shown that this region of the Fraser Valley yields brilliantly flavoured grapes. As a result, they produce many varieties of award-winning tasting red and white wines.
