The CGS Young Professionals Social event — in Winnipeg 2024!
Based on our outstanding success of the first mixer in Calgary, the CGS YP Committee is holding an in-person social event in Winnipeg, Manitoba in conjuction with the CGS Manitoba Student Chapter. The event will take place at Torque Brewing on May 9, 2024, 5:30–9:00 p.m with doors opening at 5 pm.
The event is designed to provide a relaxed and casual atmosphere for geotechnical professionals and students to connect with each other, share experiences and insights, and build their professional networks. The event is completely FREE, but pre-registration is required! One ticket will provide 1 drink and appetizers; additional food and drinks are available for purchase.
There will also be a panel discussion titled "Ground Truths: Lessons for Our Younger Selves".
P.S. Although the event is focused on young professionals, all geotechnical engineers, and geologists are welcome to attend!
