A program based on Camila Salcedo's work a part of Labour Pains, a group exhibition curated by Emma Steen.

SKETCH Working Arts

In this workshop, participants are invited to learn mending techniques including woven darning and visible mending to patch holes in their clothing while reflecting on labour, disability and sustainability. This workshop accompanies Camila Salcedo’s work around brain injuries, a part of <a href="https://mayworks.ca/festival-2024/labour-pains" title="https://mayworks.ca/festival-2024/labour-pains" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Labour Pains</a> curated by Emma Steen.Refreshments served. Materials provided, no previous experience required. <h3>NOTE: The event was previously at the Textile Museum of Canada but it is now at SKETCH Working Arts (180 Shaw St)</h3><h3> </h3>Accessibility: Masks are encouraged.
