We've booked Ray's Lebanese Cuisine in Bayers Lake the evening of Saturday June 8th, 2024. You'll get to see a belly dance show ranging from beginners to professionals, enjoy a delicious plant-based gluten free-friendly Middle Eastern menu (YUM - MY FAVE!), drinks, dessert and an after party. Don't worry, carnivores, I made sure there will also be chicken and beef shawarma available for you!</h4><p><br></p><h4>There will not be assigned seating, every tables will be served all items on the menu family-style. I have been told the menu is safe for gluten-free diet as each dish is served on its own, just don't touch the pita or the baklava plates!</h4><p><br></p><h4>hummus, babaghanouj, grape leaves, labneh, tabouli, fattoush, chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, falafel, mediterranean rice and of course baklava for dessert. $50, drinks and gratuity not included.</h4><h4>Get your ticket: E-transfer $50 to jillshireen@gmail.com</h4><p><br></p><h3>IMPORTANT TICKET DETAILS</h3><h4>Refunds available up to 7 days before event. We can't wait to see you!!</h4><p><br></p><p><strong><strong>*</strong></strong><strong><strong>10% of proceeds from the event are being donated to Shelter Movers Nova Scotia on behalf of the Halifax Shimmy Mob,</strong></strong><strong><strong> an international bellydance “flash mob” organization generating awareness on domestic violence and emotional abuse. Shimmy Mob fundraises for domestic violence prevention programs, women’s shelters, transition housing, and other programs survivors depend on after leaving an abusive relationship.</strong></strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong><strong>Halifax Shimmy Mob is currently fundraising for Shelter Movers Nova Scotia. </strong></strong><strong><strong>Shelter Movers is a national, volunteer-powered charitable organization providing moving and storage services at no cost to individuals and families fleeing abuse. They collaborate with local businesses and community agencies to support people, primarily women and children, as they transition to a life free of violence.</strong></strong></p>
