February 6, 2020 is the<a href="https://www.un.org/en/events/femalegenitalmutilationday/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation (FGM)</a>, a day established to raise awareness of and take action to end this grave violation of girls&#x27; and women&#x27;s human rights. More than 200 million girls and women around the world today are living with the consequences of FGM. Another 4.1 million girls globally are at risk of being subjected to FGM in 2020 alone. Join us to explore FGM in Toronto and Canada. What do Toronto and Canada need to do to address the issue of FGM in this country? This event includes the award-winning and inspiring Canadian documentary about young Tanzanian girls standing up against FGM called <a href="https://inthenameofyourdaughterfilm.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">&quot;In The Name Of Your Daughter&quot; </a>followed by a panel discussion and Q&amp;A with survivors, activists, medical professionals and youth.
