Credit Valley Conservation (CVC)

Help CVC staff electrofish in the Credit River Watershed. Participants will assist staff to collect information on fish community health.

Belfountain Conservation Area

At large river sites like this one, we rely on volunteer support to effectively complete this type of watershed monitoring. <h3>Event Notes</h3><ul><li>Registration is required for this event</li><li>We will email the specific location to participants upon completion of registration</li><li>Wear comfortable pants with socks, a hat, sunscreen</li><li>Bring your own water bottle and snacks/lunch</li><li>All required equipment such as waders will be provided</li><li>Washroom amenities may not be available</li><li>Volunteers <a href="https://cvc.ca/document/workday-event-waiver-under-18/" title="https://cvc.ca/document/workday-event-waiver-under-18/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">under 18 please bring a signed copy of our event waiver</a>.</li><li>Volunteers <a href="https://cvc.ca/document/workday-event-waiver-over-18/" title="https://cvc.ca/document/workday-event-waiver-over-18/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">over 18 please read the event waiver</a>.</li></ul>This event is subject to change or cancellation due to inclement weather.
