An experiential tour connecting the Eglinton Way Farmers' Market with the surrounding neighbourhood as part of Toronto Public Markets Week

Join us for a walking tour of The Eglinton Way hosted by marketcityTO and The Eglinton Way BIA in celebration of Toronto Public Market Week! The tour will begin at the 7th Annual <a href="https://www.theeglintonway.com/farmersmarket" title="https://www.theeglintonway.com/farmersmarket" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Eglinton Way Farmers' Market</a> and explore this charming Midtown neighbourhood's history, heritage buildings, businesses and artworks, with taste samplings from local gourmet bakeries and cafes. The tour will end at the Farmers' Market for the opportunity to shop and explore on your own!

The tour runs rain or shine!We'll share details on the exact locations and what to expect closer to the date. Be sure to bring a waterbottle and come dressed for the weather. This tour is led in English and includes walking approximately 1km, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes. If you require support to be able to fully participate in the tour please let us know so that we can accommodate you!This tour includes tastings of local foods; please let us know if you have any allergies.

This tour is one of a series offered through <a href="https://marketcityto.org/" title="https://marketcityto.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">marketcityTO</a> as part of Toronto's Public Markets Week (June 16-22) and is part of the #ILoveTorontoMarkets campaign.This project has been funded by the City of Toronto's Main Street Innovation Fund as part of the Government of Canada's support through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario.Thanks to this funding support, we are able to offer this tour free of charge. The $5 registration fee is to secure your spot, however each person attending will receive a $5+ complimentary tasting.
