An experiential tour connecting the St. Lawrence Farmers' Market with the surrounding neighbourhood as part of Toronto Public Markets Week

Get to know the St. Lawrence Market neighbouhood through current and past stories of place with local historian Bruce Bell who will speak to the history of St. Lawrence Market and how different it was to shop here at the Market 100 years ago.

Come explore the neighbourhood, rain or shine!Meet Bruce and the group at the red door to the right of the main Front Street entrance to St Lawrence Market (Red door). Be sure to bring a waterbottle and come dressed for the weather. This tour is led in English and includes walking approximately 1km, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes. If you require support to be able to fully participate in the tour please let us know so that we can accommodate you!

This tour is one of a series offered through <a href="https://marketcityto.org/" title="https://marketcityto.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">marketcityTO</a> as part of Toronto's Public Markets Week (June 16-22) and is part of the #ILoveTorontoMarkets campaign.This project has been funded by the City of Toronto's Main Street Innovation Fund as part of the Government of Canada's support through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario.Thanks to this funding support, we are able to offer this tour for $5.
