Starter Company Plus Orientation

The Brantford-Brant Business Resource Centre (BRC) is a division of the City of Brantford’s Economic Development and Tourism Department and part of the province’s network of Small Business Enterprise Centers that serve Ontario’s small business community.   The BRC’s goal is to assist in the creation and development of small business in Brantford, County of Brant, Haldimand County, Norfolk County and Six Nations of the Grand Riverproviding information, resources and free professional consultations on all aspects of an individual’s business needs.

Business Resource Centre (BRC)

Starter Company Plus is a provincially funded program to help entrepreneurs aged 18+ start, expand, or buy a small business in their community. Successful candidates are eligible to receive a grant of up to $5,000 in addition to mentoring, training and one-on-one business coaching. The Orientation Session will provide participants with an overview of the program, program eligibility, timelines, process and key information on the funding requirements and next steps.Attendance is mandatory for those wishing to pursue the Starter Company Plus Grant.Please note: Registered participants will be provided with a Zoom link and login information in a separate email prior to the session.
