ArtWalk: Public Art, Past and Present

The Winnipeg Arts Council is an arm’s-length agency of the City of Winnipeg that funds, supports, and champions development of the arts on behalf of the people of Winnipeg. As a city-building organization, the Winnipeg Arts Council focuses its work on the quality of life in the city, as viewed through and influenced by the arts.

DIY Field in Central Park

This 3km tour will start at DIY Field in Central Park (near Ellice Avenue). We will visit public artworks including:<ul><li>DIY Field by Germaine Koh</li><li>Air Canada Park</li><li>Acrobats by George Swinton</li><li>emptyful by Bill Pechet</li><li>Sentinel of Truth by Darren Stebeleski</li><li>Waterfall #2 by Theresa Himmer</li><li>Heaven Between by Bill Pechet</li></ul>Tours will run as scheduled rain or shine but will be cancelled in the event of a thunderstorm. Please note this tour is not a loop; see map for details.Please respect physical distancing and stay home if you feel unwell. Face masks are encouraged.
