National security practitioners, researchers and instructors looking for shifting mindsets for the evolution of security organizations and to address complex situations are invited to participate in our Annual Event: Security by Design!With Security by Design, we sat conditions for participants among NATO Members and partners to to learn from one another in their attempt at mobilizing and researching non-linear planning and strategy-making philosophies and methodologies such as strategic foresight, systems thinking, design thinking and transformative game design.The Archipelago of Design (AOD), a global not for profit organization headquartered in Canada is coordinating the event in collaboration with the Naval School of Portugal. This event is the continuation of <a href="https://aodnetwork.ca/imdc-2020-in-budapest-hungary/" title="https://aodnetwork.ca/imdc-2020-in-budapest-hungary/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Innovation Methodologies for Defence Challenges (IMDC)</a> annual conference series initiated in Ottawa in 2018. Day 1: Workshop on "Tension Between Human Factors and Unmanned Warfare (WS)

An AOD-led full-day programme focused on military design and security strategies, featuring engaging discussions and presentations, interactive game simulations, a podcast session, and a social dinner.

Day 2: Exploring Security Design with AOD at the Naval Academy

Participants will decide to either take part in game design or in-game master training activities  at the Naval Academy: Game design experiments on Domestic Security with Dr. Philippe Beaulieu-B. or  Game master Training with Dr. Oliver Jones.

Day 3: Co-designing Domestic Security Serious Games & Game Master Training
