My name is Maria Velve, a certified make-up artist andgreen beauty experton a mission to:Connect you with clean and effective products made right here in Canada, andTeach you how to use them in a way that makes you feel fresh, confident and – most importantly – likeyourself.I do this through makeup consultations, lessons and application in Toronto (and beyond) an online shop where you’ll find a curated selection of my favourite make-up and self-care products and tons of free resources and reviews.All of the products I use, recommend and sell are made in Canada from natural (and often local) ingredients – some using recipes passed down through generations. I recommend only those I’ve thoroughly researched, tested and fallen in love with.

No matter how many products you use or how much time you have, you need to give your skin some love twice a day. A skincare ritual can consist of an oil cleanser and moisturizer at night or a mist, serum and SPF in the day. However, our skin needs both oil and water to thrive and it&#x27;s the balance of the two that keeps skin hydrated as well as moisturized. In this workshop, you will learn how to customize a handful of products, so they work for you through the changing seasons. We will incorporate the oil cleansing method, benefits and uses of facial mists, masks, and learn about water and oil serums all using Helena Lane Skincare products. This is a hands-on workshop, so come ready to dip your hands into some jars and customize your skincare ritual! Everything you need for this workshop will be provided!* Helena Lane is a hand-made, small batch beauty product company from Squamish, BC. Her philosophy of “doing less with your skin” is something to be coveted in the beauty industry. All her products contain 5-6 ingredients that are easy to read and understand.
