NSCSW workshop: Understanding clinical specialization

NSCSW invites social workers in Nova Scotia to learn about new regulations for the private practice of clinical social work

In 2024 the NSCSW has implemented new regulations regarding the private practice of clinical social work. This lunch &amp; learn workshop aims to:<ul><li>Introduce New Regulations: Outline the latest rules for clinical social work in private practice as implemented by the NSCSW.</li><li>Explain Requirements: Clarify the educational, experiential, and supervisory criteria needed to become a Clinical Social Work Specialist.</li><li>Guide Application Process: Provide an orientation on how to navigate the application process successfully.</li><li>Facilitate Q&amp;A: Offer attendees the chance to ask questions and gain clarity on the new requirements and procedures.</li></ul>RSWs interested in applying for this specialization may find a <a href="https://nscsw.org/applicants/clinical-application" title="https://nscsw.org/applicants/clinical-application" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">detailed application guide on the NSCSW website</a>.
