Join our Mental Health Worker, Sophia Lopes, for a 1.5 hour introductory training on Indigenous awareness

Join Sophie Lopes, Eagle program Mental Health Worker as she leads us through a learning jouney to increase our knowledge and awareness of Indigenous history, culture and community.

Topics include:

  • Residential school (brief history)
  • Indigenous food guide (food insecurity)
  • Two Spirit (LGBTQ2S+)
  • You're on native land (what Nations programs are on, why we do land acknowledgement and who can do them)

This training is open all staff, everyone is welcome to join!
