Join us on Friday, September 20, 2024, at The Crooked Cue for an evening of exceptional jazz and community celebration.Our concert will run from 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm each night and will showcase some incredibly talented Jazz musicians!Can't wait to see you!

7:30 PM – TurbopropInnovative and electrifying, Toronto jazz drummer Ernesto Cervini has energy to burn, whether radiating it from behind his kit or working on any number of musical and educational projects. With his sextet TURBOPROP Cervini Blexes his arranging muscles, creating a vast landscape of musical textures, and moods on which these monster musicians can play.

9:00 PM – The Nimmons TributeTHE NIMMONS TRIBUTE consists of Kevin Turcotte, Tara Davidson, Mike Murley, William Carn, Perry White, Sean Nimmons, Jon Maharaj and Ethan Ardelli – each superb talents who are highly regarded as some of Canada’s top jazz musicians. These award-winning musicians are composers and bandleaders in their own right who have an impressive touring, recording and performing history. Some have been students of Phil Nimmons; others are colleagues. Each musician joined the tribute because of their deep appreciation of Phil and the contribution he made to their careers and to jazz in Canada.

10:30 PM – The Shuffle DemonsTHE SHUFFLE DEMONS are a high-energy Canadian band that blends virtuosic jazz and funk playing with eye-catching costumes and over the top stage antics to produce an incredible show. A hit at festivals all over the world, the Shuffle Demons are a crowd pleasing, full-on musical group that backs up wild stage antics with phenomenal playing by some of Canada's most talented musicians.&nbsp;
