My name is Alexandra Dobre and I am a Plant-Based Educator and a Licensed Food For Life Instructor with the Physicians Committee For Responsible Medicine (PCRM). I provide evidence-based nutrition education and cooking classes that focus on a low fat, high fiber, whole foods plant-based diet. I have a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from AFPA and I've been vegan for the last 10 years. I'm here to share my passion for cooking with plants and show you how easy and delicious cooking with plants can be.  I also hold an MLIS and  doing an MEd part time.

Plants Only Babe

Learn the benefits of a low-fat plant-based diet for maintaining brain function.

This class will shine a light on the foods and nutrients to prioritize for optimal brain health. Drawing from the book Power Foods for the Brain by Neal Barnard, MD, FACC, the class will guide participants through the research supporting a low-fat, plant-based diet for maintaining brain function and minimizing risk for cognitive decline.The class features a video lecture and a cooking demonstration of delicious recipes made from a selection of brain power foods, along with handouts of the recipes so participants can prepare at home.
