Join us as we celebrate 10 years of community, sustainability, and pollinator-friendly gardening at the Mono Pollinator Garden!

Come spend an afternoon enjoying guided garden tours, live music, educational workshops, garden-inspired refreshments, and community connection as we reflect on the garden’s growth and look ahead to the future.

What to Expect

Opening Welcome

The celebration will begin with remarks from the Garden Board Chair and the Mayor of Mono, along with a brief overview of the garden’s history, achievements, and future vision. Historical displays and posters will also be available throughout the event.

Guided Garden Tours

Explore the garden with experienced volunteers during one of our guided tours:

• 2:00 PM
• 2:30 PM

Educational Workshops

Ongoing hands-on learning opportunities throughout the afternoon, including:

• Soil health
• Composting
• Pollinator-friendly gardening practices

Live Entertainment

Enjoy live music from the Ukelele Lads and Lassies from 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM.

Garden-Inspired Refreshments

Sample seasonal treats and beverages inspired by the garden, including:

• Lavender iced tea
• Mint iced tea
• Fresh scones
• Nova Scotia oatcakes with garden flavours
• Dandelion jelly
• Queen Anne’s Lace jelly

Parking Information

Parking onsite is limited. Overflow parking will be available nearby, including at the school and designated neighbourhood areas. Carpooling is encouraged where possible.
