The Penticton & Area Access Centre is a drop in and advocacy Centre which helps the most vulnerable people in our community. Our focus is in our 5 programs: Legal Advocacy, Men’s Counselling, Free Income Tax Clinic, Disability Advocacy, and Resource and Referral. Dust off your platform shoes & get your glitter on! It’s that time of year again!  DJ Shakes spinning tunes & Jacklyn Sparrow performs!

The Barking Parrot Bar

Along with the incredible DJ Shakes, we will have ongoing LIVE performances by Jacklyn Sparrow throughout the night...bring your shades because she will dazzle you! Nadine from Army or Sass will be teaching us some funky disco moves to get us all up on the dance floor. We have some incredible prizes to bid on this year for our silent auction...cash or credit accepted. Tickets are $30 and include a night full of dancing, live DJ, live entertainment as well as a burger and a beverage. Doors open at 6. There are contests for BEST COSTUME as well as BEST DANCE MOVES so come ready to strut your stuff!This event supports The Penticton and Area Access Centre located in downtown Penticton. The Access Centre is a drop-in centre whose mandate is to alleviate the effects of poverty through advocacy, awareness and action. We have 6 programs at The Access Centre: Poverty Law Advocacy, Family Law Advocacy, Disability Advocacy, Resource and Referral, Men’s Counselling, and a free year-round Income Tax Centre. Our goal is to help create a just community that values all people equally, offers them support, and encourages them to live to their full potential.
