Introductory Food, Gardening & Hospitality Program

REVAMPED & REIMAGINED:
Now accepting disability and non-disability clients

(Self-disclosed disabilities may include depression, anxiety, ADHD, intellectual or developmental disability, physical disability, etc.)

- Applicants on ODSP, Ontario Works or El are welcome to apply
- Open to IES referrals (Generalist & Specialist clients)


What We Provide:

  • No costs involved for the participants
  • 4-week entry-level food preparation and cooking experience program
  • NEW! Greenhouse experience growing microgreens and herbs to complement dishes
  • NEW! Experience as a marketplace ambassador at the Farmers Market
  • WHMIS Certification included
  • Hands-on workshops with Professional Guest Chefs
  • Intensive workshops on resume writing, interview preparation, life skills and customer service
  • Food Handlers and CPR/First Aid Certifications available

Sept./Oct. Session: Sept. 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, 30, Oct. 3, 5, 7 & 9

*Must attend all days in a session
