However, there are costs to putting on these events, so, if you are able, please consider making a donation of $10 towards Women Owned narratives.

Introduction

This empowering event will include a Resource Fair. Visit representatives from Active Aging Seniors, Positive Leisure Pursuits, Team Carepal, Calgary Fire Department, Calgary Immigrant Women's Association (CIWA),Cognitive Corner  Golden Age Nutrition, Mind and Motion Therapy, Stretch Labs, YouQuest, and Women Owned Narratives. These organizations will also participate in the small group discussions.

Sculpting your time: A creative leisure-focused approach to retirement

Enjoy a beverage and light refreshments while you visit the local community organizations participating in today's program.

Refreshment Break and Resource Fair

Supporting Caregivers and maintaining mental health

Join small group discussions and talk about what challenges you face making time for both mental and physical self care. Learn where to find the necessary resources and discuss what is working for other people as they support their own and loved ones.

World Cafe Discussions

We'll wrap up the day's learnings and discussions. Depart feeling empowered with information and tips to support you and your loved ones.
