Join us for this 3-hour, all-mediums workshop with Deborah Czernecky at our wonderful Goldfinch Arts Centre by the sea!
This short & fun workshop will give you the confidence to produce simplified and simple executed figures for your paintings and artwork in all mediums.
In the interest of simplification, we will explore the many shortcuts, concerning yourself only with the obvious visible effects. Best of all - NO STRESS!

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Deborah Czernecky is an accomplished Canadian artist based on picturesque Vancouver Island, British Columbia. A passionate explorer of Canada's diverse natural beauty, Deborah's work is deeply rooted in her love for the outdoors and her dedication to capturing the country's vast and varied landscapes.
Whether painting on location in remote wilderness settings or refining her work in studio, Deborah's art is inspired by the ever-changing light, seasons, and textures of nature. Known for her en plein air technique, she often paints directly within the environment, immersing herself in the scenery to bring a vibrant authenticity to each piece.
Deborah holds a formal training in fine arts from institutions including St. Lawrence College (graduated with Distinction), the Mission Renaissance School (Old Masters Techniques), and Ottawa University. She has been an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists since 2009 and was featured in the 2018 Ducks Unlimited National Art Portfolio, a testament to national recognition. Her work, featured in this year's Portage Mutual Insurance Calendar, reflects her deep appreciation for Canada's natural heritage--painted with a spirit of adventure, reverence, and joy.
