Adobe Illustrator 101

Saskatoon Makerspaces is a place that provides creative people with access to tools & equipment and the education that is necessary to safely operate them. Saskatoon Makerspace focuses on accessibility, education and collaboration. We want to challenge the way we view consumerism by educating makers on the process of creation, while inspiring each other to transform our artistic concepts into entrepreneurial ventures.

<P>Adobe Illustrator is a powerful software that we use a lot here at Makerspace. Illustrator can be used to create projects on our laser cutter, decal cutter, CNC router, silkscreen, and is also used just for basic graphic designs. In this class we will explore the differences involved in working with vector graphics and traditional images.  We will learn the main illustrator tools as well as the pen tool! You will leave this class with the basic skills you need to get started in Adobe.  *A COMPUTER WITH ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR IS REQUIRED for this class.  If that is not possible for you, please contact us at 306-291-6494</P>
