The practice seminar focuses on foundational interviewing & assessment skills. It is NOT an advanced practice skills seminar & is voluntary.

The Advanced Standing Practice Seminar, will be held in person at the FIFSW (246 Bloor Street West) and is scheduled for Wednesday September 6th from 1:00pm-4:30pm (registered students will automatically be registered for the EDI workshop from 9:00-12:00pm that day), Thursday September 8th and Friday September 9th from 9:00am to 4:30pm. Students who are registered must attend all three days and you will receive a certificate upon completion.About the Practice SeminarThe practice seminar will focus on foundational interviewing and assessment skills to help advanced standing students be more prepared for social work practice. Please note, this is not an advanced practice skills seminar and attendance is completely voluntary. Please let me know if you have any questions (megancatherine.davies@utoronto.ca).
