We’re closing out the festival at Kilter Brewing with a crowd  favourite: the Haiku Death  Match! This year’s contestants,  armed with  funny, cringy, sultry, or gasp-worthy verse, will battle it out in the spirit of syllable counts—the audience is the judge. Special guest contestants include Ben Sigurdson from the Free Press and Chloe Friesen from CBC Radio. If you’re feeling feisty, you might have a chance to step into the limelight yourself! The event is PWYC, with a recommended $10.00 ticket price. ***Nous finissons le festival à Kilter Brewing avec une activité bien-aimée par le public: le Haiku Death Match ! Les participants, armés de vers rigolos, sensuels, ou même horripilantes, se livreront en bataille dans l’esprit de syllabes comptées. Parmi les invités spéciaux figurent Ben Sigurdson du Free Press et Chloe Friesen de CBC Radio. L’auditoire jugera du gagnant. Si tu te sens d’attaque, tu auras l’occasion d’être en vedette toi aussi.
