AI & Automation for Project Managers 101 is a hands-on course designed to help project managers identify, design, and implement AI and automation in their workflows to improve speed, reduce waste, and increase visibility across projects.
This beginner-to-intermediate course emphasizes practical application, showing how AI can support all stages of a project. Participants will spot automation opportunities, design workflows using Lean principles, and gain hands-on experience with tools like Airtable, Power Automate, Make, and Smartsheet to build simple automations that boost productivity and delivery outcomes.

This first session introduces the foundations of AI and automation in project management, focusing on practical, real-world applications. Participants will map project processes, identify inefficiencies, and see live demonstrations of AI use cases, including drafting meeting summaries, reports, and project updates. Led by experienced facilitators, the session includes hands-on exercises and strategies for immediate application.
Refreshments will be provided, offering participants a chance to connect and expand professional networks.
This training session is part of the Empowerment Bridge Program, a partnership between Expertise Hub Cooperative, IENL – Study and Stay NL, and Verisult, funded by the Newfoundland and Labrador Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism.
