Join the Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre and the local AI experts from XPawn for an interactive, hands-on workshop designed to help eligible businesses discover opportunities for AI adoption, identify challenges, and turn ideas into actionable next steps.

Whether you already have an AI project in mind or are starting from scratch, this workshop will help you explore how AI could improve productivty, streamline operations, and support your business goals.

This workshop is exclusively for businesses that meet the Building Blueprints for AI Adoption (BBAA) program eligibility requirements.

Please review the eligibility criteria outlined below before purchasing a ticket. Registrations that do not meet these requirements may be cancelled and refunded.

• Explore Funding Opportunities: Learn how the Building Blueprints for AI Adoption (BBAA) program can support eligible AI projects with up to $20,000 in funding.

No AI experience or project idea required! Just bring your knowledge of your business and an interest in exploring what's possible.

Who Can Attend?

This workshop is exclusively for businesses that meet the Building Blueprints for AI Adoption (BBAA) program's eligibility requirements. Eligible businesses must:

• Be a growth-oriented, for-profit small or medium-sized enterprise (sole proprietorship, partnership, or corporation).
• Be currently operating in Northwestern Ontario.
• Possess a valid Canadian business number.
• Be interested in exploring AI solutions to address business challenges and support growth.

Eligible Business Types Include:

• Manufacturing, technology, and service-based businesses
• Locally owned restaurants (excluding franchises)
• Startups within their first three years of operation are eligible with a business plan

The Following Are Not Eligible to Participate:

• Distributors
• Resellers
• Retail-only businesses
• Not-for-profit businesses
• Businesses seeking support for projects already in progress

BBAA Funding Opportunity

Through the Building Blueprints for AI Adoption program, eligible businesses may access up to $20,000 in funding, covering 50% of eligible AI adoption project costs.

With the funding opportunity closing soon, this workshop is an opportunity to explore potential projects, connect with experts, and learn about the next steps toward AI adoption.

Workshop participation does not guarantee approval for BBAA funding.
