Ainlay Steps Up Run – Supporting Students in NeedJoin us for the first annual Ainlay Steps Up Run, a community event dedicated to supporting our Student in Need Initiative at Harry Ainlay High School.This initiative exists to quietly and compassionately support students who need it most. Funds raised will go directly toward:<ul><li>Stocking our Care Closet</li><li>Providing meals for students facing food insecurity</li><li>Supporting transportation to school and essential services</li><li>Helping students access supports like Cinderella’s Closet and Gregor’s Grad</li><li>Ensuring students can cover graduation fees and walk the stage with their peers</li></ul>At Ainlay, we know that challenges can impact anyone. Many students navigate difficult circumstances, some visible, others not. This event is an opportunity for our community to come together and show up for them in a meaningful way.Event DetailsThe day is designed for everyone - whether you run, walk, or simply come to be part of the atmosphere. Alongside the run, there will be:<ul><li>Food trucks</li><li>Music</li><li>Games and activities</li><li>A kid’s relay organized by our Leadership students</li></ul>It’s a chance to connect with students, staff, families, and the wider community in a fun, welcoming environment.Get InvolvedThere are many ways to take part:<ul><li>Register and join the run or walk</li><li>Bring your family and friends</li><li>Form a team with your department, club, or sports team</li><li>Add some fun with team shirts and friendly competition</li><li>Spread the word through social media or email</li><li>Make a donation if you’re unable to attend</li></ul>We especially encourage sports teams and school groups to take part. This is a powerful opportunity for students to give back, show leadership, and support their peers.RegistrationRegistration is $25 and includes a t-shirt, water bottle, and event swag.Together, we can make a lasting impact. Ainlay is a strong and caring community - and when we show up for each other, it truly matters.We’d love to see you there.
