Alpha OCR Series #3

If you are an experienced obstacle course racer and are hoping to prepare for a particular upcoming event, Alpha’s OCRs are a great way to train. There is a wide variety of obstacles in our races that you will encounter
The wide variety of obstacles in our races will prepare you for any upcoming event whether it be an OCR Championship or a fun mud run. Some obstacles that you will face include: traverse walls, inverted walls, the rope climb, warp walls, cargo nets, and monkey bars.
Race Series Details
Distance: Each race will be approximately 7 km in length on flat terrain with 25 to 35 obstacles.
Start Times: Each Alpha OCR event will be timed with a race wire timing system. Participants will be able to obtain their times online and can compare their results from all three events.
There will be a competitive heat and open heats. Registration will open at 7:30 AM in the Soccerworld Polson Pier dome located at 176 Cherry Street.
Competitive heat will start at 9:00 am
Open heats will start at 9:15 am
Bag Drop: Bag drop will be available in the soccer dome.
Concession: Food and drinks will be available on site.

Alpha races join the top ranks
Alpha Obstacle Training is proud to announce that the OCR Series is now an OCR World Championships Qualifier race.
The OCR World Championships is the first truly independent global championships for the best of the best to compete in. It is one singular Obstacle Course Race that brings top racers from the across the globe together. The OCRWC celebrates its amazing athletes and community while increasing participation and awareness in this budding sport. The 2016 OCR World Championships will be held October 14-16, 2016, at Blue Mountain in Ontario, Canada
Athletes can qualify to compete in the OCRWC based on his/her performance at specific Qualifying Races.
Alpha’s OCR Qualifier Information:
Pro Division Qualification:
- Top 5 finish in your gender in the Elite wave
Age Group and Competitive Wave Qualification:
- Top 10 finish in your gender in the Elite wave; 1st place finish in your age group in the Elite wave
Age groups: 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50+
If you qualify for the OCR World Championships and would like to register, participants are required to provide proof of results at the time of registration. Entry into the OCRWC will be granted to qualified athletes on a first-come, first serve basis.
