AMS Patient Intelligence Summit (Virtual)

AMS Healthcare

As AI reshapes healthcare, patients have an unprecedented opportunity to influence what comes next.

AI is changing the patient experience and power dynamic —both in how care is delivered by the formal healthcare system, AND in how patients participate in their care. That is, patients (and care partners) are increasingly asked to co-design and/or consent to AI being part of their care experience; and are increasingly using AI on their own to understand health information, prepare for appointments, navigate the healthcare system, and advocate for themselves. We have an opportunity - and duty - to intentionally shape how these two phenomena impacting patients evolve, with compassion at the core.AMS and our partners at UHN and Patient Advisors Network are convening the Patient Intelligence Summit to bring together patients, care partners, clinicians, researchers, health system leaders, policymakers, and technology builders. Join us virtually for provoking conversation, lived experiences, and practical insights into a critical lever of AI-ready health systems: patient use of AI.Program Highlights 4-5:30 pm EST

Opening – The AMS, UHN and PAN team will set the stage and share insights from an earlier thinkshop on the topic

International Keynote – Steve Brown, patient advocate and founder of CureWise, on the emergence of the AI-enabled patient and implications for healthcare

Response Panel– AMS Fitzgerald Fellow Dr. Amy Lang facilitates a lively panel - a patient, a care partner, a patient advocacy leader, and a clinician will help us sense-make how AI is reshaping trust, power, communication, and care

Who Should Attend? This event is open to anyone interested in the future of healthcare.
