Event description
Please join the Concord Education Fund (CEF) as we take the Apple Challenge, supporting teachers inspiring our students!

About this Event

We at the CEF believe our teachers, staff and administrators are at the CORE of our students’ education, planting the SEEDS for future academic and emotional success. This year - more than ever - we want to express our deep gratitude for the ways our schools have continued to innovate for and support our students. Because we must forego our annual party this Fall, please consider joining us as we thank our teachers and staff by raising funds via the virtual Apple Challenge, a 5 mile Hike|Bike|Roll|Stroll!

We are seeking to raise funds from the community through family/team participation in the Apple Challenge. A $100 donation registers your family or small (six person max) team for the Hike|Bike|Roll|Stroll, and includes a yard sign for display and event-weekend swag. If you’re not able to participate in the Hike|Bike|Roll|Stroll you can still join in the fun by proudly displaying a yard sign for only $50!

How do I participate?

At your convenience during the weekend of November 13-15 take a 5-mile Hike|Bike|Roll|Stroll with your family or team. We will offer suggested routes through scenic Concord, or hike your favorite trail. Either way, plan to wear your School gear and a mask, wave to your friends, take pictures and videos, and HAVE FUN!

A portion of the funds raised will go to purchase bike racks and pump stations for each school. Stay tuned for additional ways our teachers will use the funds raised to provide innovative, creative, and effective ways to teach our kids. The needs are especially great this year, so let’s cover our town in apples!

Please tag #CEFapplechallenge and #concordedfund when posting your photos!!
