Astronomy 101: All About Orbits

TheH.R. MacMillan Space Centreis a non-profit community resource that provides a unique learning experience for all. Visitors can learn about space and the night sky through planetarium star theatre shows, live demonstrations, and an interactive exhibit gallery.

<h3>ACCESSING THE LIVE STREAM: </h3>There are 2 ways to participate:1) Zoom - register on Eventbrite. Tickets are $8 plus taxes and fees.2) TELUS Optik TV® available on channel 611 to subscribers with a 4K PVR box. No registration required.LINK TO ZOOM LIVE STREAM: Emails will be sent from the Eventbrite platform with a link to access the live stream 2 hours before, and 10 minutes before the event starts.

Happy New Year! Earth has completed another orbit around the Sun. Ever wonder how the Earth ends up in the same place after one year? Or if our orbit around the Sun ever changes? What about other kinds of orbits? Join us to learn about orbits and how we use them. During this 60-minute family friendly live Zoom webinar participants will have the opportunity to interact and ask questions. All ages are welcome to join us for this event but the content is more appropriate for children 8-12 years and old. Registration is required and capacity is limited, so don&#x27;t miss out! We will be broadcasting from Vancouver, BC, Canada at 6:30pm PDT.
