<H2>Workshop - Towards a Municipal Commemoration Policy<BR>Friday, March 23, 2018 – 9 am - 12 pm</H2>
<P>The City of Ottawa is launching a commemoration policy renewal process towards developing and implementing an updated, single municipal policy for recognizing and celebrating many facets of Ottawa’s heritage, history, places, people and events.<BR></P>
<P>The Council of Heritage Organizations in Ottawa, in partnership with the City of Ottawa’s Cultural Initiatives and Development Section, is pleased to invite you to attend the workshop "Towards a Municipal Commemoration Policy". Listen to leading-edge panel presentations and participate in discussion groups to share your perspective with us.<BR></P>
<P>The development of a City of Ottawa municipal commemoration policy is a recommended action in the Council-approved <EM>Renewed Action Plan for Arts, Heritage and Culture in Ottawa (2013–2018).</EM></P>
<P>We are eager to hear your thoughts on this subject, and hope you can attend!<BR></P>

<H2>Atelier – Vers une politique municipale pour la commémoration<BR>Le vendredi 23 mars 2018 – 9 h à 12 h</H2>
<P>La Ville d’Ottawa entame un processus de renouvellement de ses politiques de commémoration ayant pour but d’élaborer et de mettre en œuvre une politique municipale unique visant la reconnaissance et la valorisation des multiples facettes de l’histoire d’Ottawa, des lieux, des personnalités et des événements.<BR></P>
<P>Le Conseil des organismes du patrimoine d’Ottawa, en partenariat avec la section Initiatives et développement culturels de la Ville d’Ottawa, a le plaisir de vous inviter à participer à l’atelier « Vers une politique municipale pour la commémoration ». Venez entendre des présentations avant-gardistes et participer à des groupes de discussion pour livrer votre perspective et partager votre point de vue avec nous.<BR></P>
<P>Le développement d’une politique municipale sur la commémoration pour la Ville d’Ottawa découle de l'une des actions recommandées dans le<EM> Plan d’action renouvelé pour les arts, le patrimoine et la culture à Ottawa (2013-2018).</EM></P>
