AWARE RESEARCH SHOWCASE 
The AWARE Research Showcase highlights the findings from the first three years of AWARE research at FP Innovations, Pointe Claire on June 7th, 2018.

AWARE is a five year CRD academic/industry partnership that is researching the use of LiDAR and other remote sensing technologies for forest resource inventory management. AWARE spans twenty five research questions grouped into three spatial themes and a fourth, cross cutting theme for research questions that are applicable to all the spatial themes.

The principle investigator, Nicholas Coops, will start the day, followed by AWARE co-investigators who will present an overview of AWARE research objectives and discuss data collection and research activities for the last three years. These presentations will be followed by a lightning round of two minute introductions for all the AWARE researchers in the poster session.
The afternoon begins with a poster session with fifteen of our post-doctoral fellows and graduate students, affording an excellent opportunity to talk one-on-one about leading edge research in this dynamic field. Following the poster session, we will break into smaller groups and rotate three presenters to each group to facilitate discussion on the following topics:
