Get ready for a fun and interactive day in the Meeting Room at Alice Turner Library!The session will be conversational and interactive with special guests lined up. We will discuss many topics from fire safety to behaviour management and finding work after the course.WHAT IS INCLUDED?A notebook for the session and mini-handbook for future use.An egg for the classic egg-baby activity on gentle care.A light snack of fruit and granola bars. ⚠️Those with serious allergies may want to bring their own snack.WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING?A water bottle.A doll or stuffed animal for diapering practice (if you do not have one, please do NOT buy, we will have spares).A positive attitude!Disclaimers:1) Behaviour: This course is intended for mature youth who are excited to learn about a very important job. Poor, disruptive or rude and disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated and the parent/caregiver will be asked to collect their youth ASAP.2) Illness: Please do not send anyone who is showing signs of illness such as fever, chills, persistent cough, diahrrea, vomiting etc.3) Informed Consent: By registering for this course you acknowledge that Alice Turner Library, Skill Builders Academy and all associates/instructors will not be held responsible for any accidents or losses, however caused, and you agree to release from all claims or damages which may arise as a result of such accident or loss.
