Babysitting Course (Bowmanville)
This course teaches youth the fundamental skills they need to start their own babysitting service.

Cost $66.00 + tax; includes participant manual. Refunds up to 24 hours before the event. Refunds are subject to a non-refundable processing fee. Participants wishing to pay in person are welcome to visit one of our service desks where staff can facilitate the registration.

Recommended that attendees bring a lunch or snack and also a teddy bear or stuffie for practicing.
Learn the fundamental skills they need to start their own babysitting service with a Red Cross certified instructor. Presented with React Right Safety Services.
Topics include:
- How to give appropriate care for infants, toddlers and school-aged children;
- Dealing with basic First Aid emergencies;
- How to recognize potential hazards;
- What parents expect of a babysitter;
- How to safely find customers; and
- Rural babysitting.
Caregivers and support staff for people with disabilities are welcome and are admitted free of charge and don't need to register. All participants planning to participate in the training need to register.
