Barista Jam

Barista Jam

Café Good LuckDartmouth, NS
Saturday, May 30  •  6 PM - 10 PM
Overview

Join us for an evening of latte art, coffee tasting and community!

The barista jam will have two parts: A formal latte art competition and an informal tasting competition.

Latte Art Competition

The latte art competition will be a knockout-style bracket. Two baristas will go head-to-head to produce the same style of latte art. A panel of three judges will decide which barista executed the latte art the best. That barista will move onto the next round, until one barista is declared the winner. The latte art competition will be using Minor Figures oat m*lk.

Tasting Competition

The tasting portion of the event will be much less formal. All ticket holders will be invited to participate in the tasting competition. Every round of the latte art competition, a different coffee will be brewed. Participants in the tasting event will taste the coffee and fill out a form with their best guess of a number of details about the coffee (origin, processing, etc.). The winner will be decided based on which person got the most correct over the course of the night.
