Overview

Does your dog have what it takes to take home the Gold? We are calling all fast, agile, and super-smart dogs in Airdrie! This year’s Bark in

Does your dog have what it takes to take home the Gold? We are calling all fast, agile, and super-smart dogs in Airdrie! This year’s Bark in the Park features our very own Dog Olympics, and we want YOUR pup to compete.

Whether you have a high-flying Border Collie or a determined Dachshund, there is a category for everyone.

🏅 The Olympic Events Include:

  • The High Jump: How high can they go?
  • The Tunnel Run: A test of speed and bravery.
  • Musical Sits: Like musical chairs, but for dogs (last one to sit is out!).
  • Best Trick: Show us their best rollover, shake, or dance.

Prizes: Medals and gift baskets for the top 3 in each category!

3. The "Ticket" Strategy (Crucial)

You need to make "entering" feel official. On Eventbrite, create a specific "Add-On" or "Ticket Type" for competitors.

  • Ticket Name: "Olympic Competitor Pass (One Dog)"
  • Price: $5 (or Free, if you just want numbers).
  • Why this works: It forces people to commit in advance. If they just "show up," they might flake. If they have a "Competitor Pass," they are practicing in the backyard for weeks!
