Turn scraps into stories and discover how collage can be used for self-expression, reflection, and creative exploration.
Join us for a creative collage session at New Leaf Enterprise! Collage is a wonderfully accessible art form that can be used for self-expression, storytelling, vision boards, journaling, creative exploration, or simply the joy of making something with your hands.
We'll provide a variety of materials to cut, arrange, and assemble into your own unique creation. Whether you arrive with a specific project in mind or simply want to experiment and see where the process takes you, this workshop offers a relaxed and supportive space to create.
Participants are welcome to bring photos, magazines, paper scraps, fabric, found objects, or a surface they'd like to collage on. However, bringing materials is completely optional—everything needed to participate will be available on-site.
This workshop will be hosted at New Leaf Enterprise, a fully accessible space. We are grateful to New Leaf Enterprise for sharing their space and helping make this workshop accessible to our community.
As with all LifeSchoolHouse workshops, participation is offered through a barter model rather than a registration fee. We invite participants to bring a barter item to thank the facilitator for their time, creativity, and knowledge sharing.
Our collage facilitator, Jenn, especially appreciates handmade and homegrown gifts. If you're looking for inspiration, consider bringing:
• Homemade baked goods or preserves
• Handmade artwork, cards, or crafts
• Candles, soaps, or other handmade self-care items
• Garden produce, herbs, seeds, or plants
• Knitted, sewn, woven, or crocheted creations
• Locally sourced foods and treats
• Tea blends or herbal preparations
• Useful household items you've made yourself
• Something creative that reflects your own skills and interests
The spirit of barter is more important than the monetary value of the item. Thoughtful, heartfelt contributions are always appreciated.
Spots are limited, so reserve your ticket today! If your plans change, please let us know so we can offer your spot to someone else.
