<h3>Basic Bike Care &amp; Maintenance Class</h3>Cost: $30 — includes a $30 in-store voucher towards tools and accessories so you can build your own toolkit!Learn essential bicycle care and maintenance practices to help keep your bike running smoothly, safely, and reliably — and know when it’s time to bring it in for service.Whether it’s a mountain bike, gravel grinder, sporty hybrid, casual cruiser, or road bike, this class will help you protect your investment by inspecting and caring for your bike properly. Suitable for weekend riders and daily commuters alike, you’ll gain confidence to care for your bike and prevent common problems on the road or trail.In this 2-hour class, you’ll learn:<ul><li>How to perform a pre-ride safety check to reduce the chance of breakdowns on your adventures</li><li>How to check and inflate tires to the correct pressure (and prevent punctures!)</li><li>How to clean and lubricate your chain and gears for smoother, longer-lasting performance</li><li>How to fix a flat tire, including removing both front and rear wheels</li><li>What tools and supplies to bring on a ride</li></ul>The class will be a mix of instruction and hands-on learning, so you can practice key skills in a supportive environment.Plus, your $30 registration fee comes back to you as a $30 coupon to spend on the tools and accessories featured in the class — it’s basically free!No need to rouse your bike from hibernation; we will have some examples for you to work with.
